Rare first edition containing 20 original woodcuts signed by Louis Moret in black or cameo under captioned serpents, printed in an edition of 175 copies; an unnumbered copy, justified with a stamp in red ink and enriched here with an E.A.S. from the artist in pencil dated August 19, 1916 (the recipient's name has been erased).
